Salt Lake County Public Works Operations Division provides road maintenance and other public works services to the residents of Unincorporated Salt Lake County, Utah and to several contracted cities. Their goal is to provide these services in a timely and effective manner and to promote the safety and welfare of these residents.
To meet its goal, Salt Lake County Public Works Operations Division needs to replace their database system, which is no longer capable of providing the functionality to meet customers' needs and day to day operations. A theoretical document detailing the processes to replace this system was created.
This document covered the steps and processes to replace the database system. All aspects of the project have been covered in this document. Emphasis on the following six management areas: scope, stakeholder, communication, time, cost and quality are detailed in the document.
